Get well soon Butterfly

I CASEd the background idea for this card from Julie Ebersole's card (from her blog).  I like the rest of her card idea and might have to try that as well.

This doily set from My Mind's Eye is getting a lot of use.  The doilies are stamped in Versamark and embossed in white on Stampin' Up! Crumb Cake (formally kraft) cardstock.

I've had a quiet weekend mostly at home.  We did an install on Friday morning and I actually cleaned Friday afternoon which was nice to not have to mess with the rest of the weekend.  Lenny went to a local  Blues festival yesterday; I joined him for a couple of hours as that is about as long as I can sit still :-)  Today I've been crafting and have just pulled his upcoming birthday dessert from the oven.  It is another rhubarb treat, this time mixed with raspberries both of which he grew himself and picked just today.  Apparently raspberries have no shelf life.  I never knew anyone around her to grow them until he planted some.  Anyway I think we had better test this dessert out.  It may not have a long shelf life either!

card Ingredients:  Stamps:  God's Beauty from Stampin' Up!; Mailbox Greetings from PTI
Ink:  Stazon Black; Old Olive, Pacific Point and Tempting Turquoise from SU!
Cardstock:  Crumb Cake
Ribbon:  from Hobby Lobby.

  1. Your card is beautiful. The butterfly is gorgeous and the background is perfect for it.
Hope you enjoyed your dessert, made my mouth water reading about it. Been much too long without rhubarb.
